Roughneck Choir

All grades:  supplies are due this week!  Binders/pencil pouch/2 pencils and a highlighter

Varsity Members have a choir handbook filled with tons of info, dates, and policies.  This must be signed by student and parent and returned by due date.

6th Grade – will be loaned classroom supplies

Varsity/JV

Students will listen to Round One All Region Songs.  They will highlight their parts so they can begin learning them

Officers will be announced.

The Lord Bless You and Keep You will be reviewed for past members and introduced to new members.

We will talk about songs for Senior Citizen Luncheon as well

Section Leaders will be chosen and sections will begin to work individually on their parts.

7th/8th Grade

All Region songs will be introduced  – one new one each day

Sight reading  begins

6th Grade

Monday – Mozart – Listen to me Begin Sof-feg

Tuesday Review Mozart Introduce Bach = Major Minor Add to Sol Feg

Wednesday Handel – Don’t Wait!   Begin Music Worksheets – Lines/Spaces

Thursday – Hallelujah Chorus by Handel – learn repeat, fortisimo, piano fermata
