Month: March 2020
7th and 8th Grade Choir Lesson Plans – March 30 – April 10
Hello Choir!!
I am missing you so much and I hope that you are staying well.
During this time of quarantine, I have a project for you to do. I hope it will be fun and that you will enjoy it. Maybe, it will be a change from your usual daily routine.
Sometime during the next 2 weeks, I would like for you to video yourself singing a song and email it to me.
The song can be any song that you choose. (of course, you know it has to be school appropriate!) The song can be as long as you would like, but no shorter than one minute.
You can use Karaoke, live accompaniment, or sing a cappella. If you have someone in your family that likes to sing, you can include them in the video. You can even get your whole family involved if you would like! This should be a fun activity. I know it will be fun for me, as I will get to hear all of you sing!
A voice can get out of shape quickly if you don’t use it on a daily basis. So, this should help keep your voice as healthy as it was when we left for spring break!
I will not share the videos with anyone.(unless you give me permission.) I will comment on them and may give you a few tips.
You can also upload your video to the White Oak Shared Drive.
I know some of you can’t wait to get started and some of you are dreading this! You need to get out of your comfort zone and share your wonderful voice.
Please email me if you have questions. [email protected]
This project is due on Thursday, April 9, but don’t wait until the last minute!!
Thank you!
