Christmas Concert is Coming. Mark Your Calendars
December 12 6:00. All Students should be here no later than 5:40
Attire:
6th Grade Black on the bottom. Christmas shirt for the top
7/8th Grade – White Oak Choir T- Shirt
Varsity – Formal attire. Remember black shoes. Also black socks for the boys. Make sure you get full exam credit by being on time and wearing correct attire.
This week all classes will be working on Christmas music and heading to the stage to begin practicing.
ALL STUDENTS
December 12 – Christmas Concert for All. Start time is 6:00. Students will need to be her by 5:40. This is a major test grade/final exam in grade book so please make sure you attend and wear the assigned clothing. All students will stay for the whole concert. There will be a finale at the end including all choirs.
December 13 – Varsity Choir carols around Longview – Caroling Schedule. 10:00 Longview Regional. 11:00 Heartis. 12:00 – Parkview and 1:00 Austin Bank. This is also a test grade for Varsity Choir. Please invite your friends and family to come listen. This will be part of giving back to our community. We will do lunch after our last performance. Students will need money for lunch
Pre Area Qualifiers
November 19 Meet in choir room at 7:30. We will be driving to Mount Pleasant. Remember to practice sight reading as it will be a major part of your audition. Hopefully we will be finished by 4. You will be provided lunch money. Make plans for make-up work before that day.
Monday November 11 students are out.

High School All Region Members
IMPORTANT DATES
November 9 High School All Region Clinic and Concert. The bus will most likely take us there and drop us off. You will ride home with your parents after the concert. Meet at school at 7:30 am. Bring formal wear so you can change before concert. Make sure your formal wear includes black socks and shoes for the boys. There will be a concession stand. You will have money for lunch, but will probably want to bring extra and snacks etc. Concert is at 4:00 p.m. Mount Pleasant HIgh School There is a form that must be signed by each parent and student before we go. I will send this home next week.
